Yamba
and the Lower Clarence offer a diverse and exhausting
range of artisans in residence. From acclaimed
artists, stained glass practitioners, to the down
right clever, there is so much on offer here in
Yamba.
Two local
Yamba galleries, arthouse
australia and Gary Winter Marine Artist located
at the Yamba Marina and a number of restaurants
have regular exhibitions.
Ulgahundi
Art Gallery and Cultural Centre Maclean. This gallery has a wonderful selection of local
indigenous art works for sale while housing important
cultural artefacts for the local Yaegl tribe.
A number of local artists have
work hung in galleries throughout Australia including
Graham Mackie, Fiona Nicholls, John Beeman, Lyndall Adams,
Pat King, Joanna Terpstra, Penny Stuart, Jill
Bradshaw, Kerry Howland, Pat Riordan, Roger Warsop and Frances Belle-Parker
who was the winner of the National Blake Religious
Art Prize.

A favourite of any visitor to
the Lower Clarence is a visit to the
Ferry Park Gallery in Maclean. This gallery
is home to the Lower Clarence Art's and Craft's
Association which is one of the longest running
art groups in NSW. Here you will find everything
from hand spun items, woodwork, fine arts, pottery,
photography and paintings.
The annual Arts
and Craft Expo in July attracts entries
from all around Australia.
